The Play Services Team at Milton Keynes Play Association deliver a wide range of play related services, and can be broadly broken into three areas:
- direct delivery of play, for example Woodland Play sessions and Open Access Play sessions, Rural Play ranger sessions and Forest Schools, where children and families are welcome to come and access good quality and diverse play opportunities, and a range of play activities for private functions and children’s parties
- support for deliverers of play – Breakfast Clubs, After School Clubs, Holiday Playschemes, Midday Supervisors, etc – we offer support and guidance, help with inclusive practice, on the job or informal training, loan equipment, workshops to help workers develop a variety of skills, support for voluntary committees, staff cover – in fact almost anything that will help those people working in playwork.
- Partnership working - you name it, we do it! Offering support for events where play for children is required- this can tailor made to suit the needs of the event -
We also are able to offer teambuilding for commercial ventures, and speakers and workshop deliverers for play related conferences.
